Matthew Scott Mills, age 54, resident of Culleoka, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at his residence.
Matthew was born August 4, 1963, in Flint, MI, the son of the late Gerald Eugene Mills and Rosalie Fodora Mills. On October 1, 2016, he married Brook Dundon. Matthew was an OpTech for General Motors and was a member of UAW Local 1853. His longtime passion was bowling. Matthew also enjoyed fishing, race cars, boating and camping. He loved spending time with his friends and singing karaoke. Matthew was a wonderful dad and step-dad.
Survivors include his wife, Brook Mills of Culleoka; two sons, Adam (Nastassja “Nikki”) Mills and Matthew Mills II; one daughter, Ashley Mills; stepchildren, Devin Skarzynski, Derrick Hay, Rhonda Pitts and Jesse Wilson; grandchildren, Ana’lise, Chelsey, Triston and Mattie; two brothers, Tony (Lee Ann) Mills and Andy (Tina) Mills and one sister, Michelle Mills and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Matthew will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
