Matthew "Matt" Hill

Mr. Matthew ?Matt? Hill, 21, a resident of Bigbyville Road in Columbia, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2006.

Funeral services for Mr. Hill will be conducted Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Jimmy Cook officiating. Burial will be in the Anderson Creek Cemetery in Giles County. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of Kenneth and Wanda Lemay Hill of Columbia. He was a student at ITT Tech and of the Church of Christ faith.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Amanda Chuckie Moore of Columbia; paternal grandparents, Lee and Carolyn Hill of Columbia; maternal grandparents, William ?Billy? and Patsy Lemay of Linden; great grandmothers, Rebecca Dickson of Etheridge and Bonnie Brumley of Columbia; aunts and uncles, Tommy and Mary Crumley of Culleoka, Ricky and Dana Lemay of Mt. Pleasant, Melissa Baker of Williamsport and Tony Hill of Columbia; a niece, Katelynn Moore of Columbia; a nephew; Nicholas Moore of Columbia; special friend, Jennifer Barber of Nashville; several great aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandmothers, Lou Dell Lemay and Landra Holder Hill.

Pallbearers will be Justin Crumley, Curtis Lemay, Freddie McCullom, Andy Harris, Tony Hill and Casey Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Jennifer Barber and co-workers of the Nashboro Village Kroger?s.
