Mary Lou Lewis Short

Mrs. Mary Lou "Lewis" Short, 85, a resident of Oscar McClain Rd., died Friday at NHC Hillview.
Funeral services for Mrs. Short will be conducted Sunday, July 6, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Williams and Bro. Charlie Craig officiating. Burial will follow in McClain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Short was born in Lewis County, daughter of the late DJ and Dena Goodman Lewis and wife of the late Charlie Short. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Orin Mary Short of Mt. Pleasant; granddaughter, Amanda Tim Adams of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Leota Woods and Elsia Mae Wright, both of Nashville and a great-grandson, Anthony Ferrell Adams of Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by a grandson, William Ferrell Short.
Pallbearers will be Odell Haywood, William Grimes, Gary Woods, David Woods, Earl Hayes and Tim Adams, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Rufus Overstreet, Glenn Overstreet, W.C. Johnson, Donald Dark, Men of the Masadonia Church of Christ and the Staff at NHC Hillview.
