Mrs. Mary Dee Helton Dooley, 90, long-time owner and operator of the Ranch House Restaurant and a resident of 111 Carol Drive in Columbia, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at Life Care Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dooley will be conducted Thursday, June 19, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with David Davidson officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Hardin County, Tennessee native was the daughter of the late Jessie Byrd Helton and Betty Pickett Helton. She was the widow of Horace Dooley who died in 1962. She was a member of the West Seventh Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Bill Tinsley of Gallatin; two sons, Jim Colene Dooley and Larry Henrietta Dooley, both of Columbia; four grandchildren, Brad Dooley and Jim Cory Dooley, both of Columbia, Lori Tinsley Jason McCormick of Murfreesboro, and Ben Tinsley of Gallatin. She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Fred Chappell, James Dickey, Ashley Brown, Bob Martin, and her grandsons.
