Mary Lucy Williams

Mary Lucy Williams, age 98 of Columbia, passed away July 5, 2013 at the Sterling House in Columbia.
Mary was born March 24, 1913 to the late Ben A. Williams and Kate Boshers Williams in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. She worked with the Federal Government Department of Airforce where she retired thirty years ago. After her retirement she worked for Farm Bureau Insurance as a secretary. Ms. Williams was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by her siblings Freda White of Hendersonville and Franklin (Jean) Williams of Mt. Pleasant. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Mirene Williams, and two brothers R.B. Williams and Willie Williams.
The family will gather with friends Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 1:00 until the service at 3:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Frank Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery.
Mary's family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
