Mary Will Davis

Mrs. Mary Will Goodwin Davis, 83, passed away Saturday at her home in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 30 at the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend William Owens officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 9:00 pm Sunday at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
Born in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Will and Jewell Craig Goodwin and the widow of John Herbert Davis, Sr. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker, wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist church.
She is survived by her children, John H. Gay Nell Davis, Jr. and Jimmy Irene Davis both of Mt. Pleasant, George Margaret Davis of Columbia, Judy Chuck Rogers of Nashville, Terry ?Die-hard? Debbie Davis and Michael Diane Davis both of Columbia; grandchildren, Randall Davis, Timothy Davis, Terry Curtis, Tony Curtis all of Mt. Pleasant, Will Davis of Nashville, Tracy Cothran and Shane Davis both of Columbia, Shannon Johnson of Franklin, Cassie Davis of Columbia and Stephanie Davis of Nashville, Kelly Davis and Jill Davis both of Columbia; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise Goodwin of Columbia.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Catheryn Don Horton and Mary Louise Davis; grandchildren, Gary Davis, Debbie Scheidt, Amanda Davis and Taffy Davis; a sister, Margaret Dunn; three brothers, Craig Goodwin, Douglas Goodwin and George Goodwin.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Toban
