Mary Wilkins

Mary Wilkins, of Santa Fe, Tennessee, passed away on February 27, 2025, at Maury Regional Hospital. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mary had a love for flowers and gardening. She also found joy and peace in nurturing beautiful blooms. She found love in sewing and making excellent meals, with her peach cobbler being a family favorite. A woman of faith, she was of the Baptist belief. In her free time, she enjoyed watching HGTV, always finding joy in home and design while attending to her favorite roommate cat, Dora.

She dedicated her career to helping others feel their best as a hairdresser for over 40 years, and her warmth and kindness touched many. Above all, Mary was a family woman who cherished time spent with her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Jarrett and Maggie Hill; her beloved husband, Charles Wilkins; her son, Michael Crumley and nephew, Tony Stewart.

Mary leaves behind her loving children: Tracey (Teri) Wilkins, Terry “Tater” (Kandi) Crumley, and Kim (Benny) Annis; her cherished grandchildren: Promila Crumley, Elijah Crumley, Malachi Crumley, Logan Wilkins, Makayla Wilkins, Sherise Scott, Eric Owens, and Lesley Owens. She is also survived by her sister, Betsy Scott; and nieces, Janice Anderson, Terese Stewart; and nephew Dean Stewart.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 2, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mylen Coble officiating. Mary will be laid to rest at Hilltown Cemetery in Santa Fe with the following pallbearers assisting: Tater Crumley, Tracey Wilkins, Logan Wilkins, Elijah and Malachi Crumley, and Chris Bishop.
