Mary Sue Crabtree

Mary Sue Crabtree was born December 29, 1935 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of the late Allen Merony and Clara Vernon Merony. On June 20, 1953, she married Charles Crabtree they enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Mary Sue was retired as a supervisor with Bell South. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and volunteered with the American Red Cross. She and Charles were members of the Riverside United Methodist Church.

Along with her dear husband, she is survived by one daughter, Sherrie Larry Yokley of Columbia and two grandchildren, Valerie Robert Hopkins of Lewisburg and Charles Gina Yokley of Columbia along with 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Merony.

Mary Sue passed away on Friday, June 22, at her residence surrounded by her devoted family.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 A.M. in the Arbors at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Faith.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
