Mary Maxine Prince, known affectionately as Maxine, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024, in her home in Columbia, Tennessee. She was born on March 8, 1949, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Maxey and Mary Crabtree.

Maxine lived a life dedicated to serving others, exemplifying compassion and selflessness. She found joy in helping her community and was a frequent volunteer at the local food pantry in Columbia. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she always put the needs of others before her own.

A woman of remarkable strength and determination, Maxine was known for her exceptional work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. She navigated the business world with grace and tenacity, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside her.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Maxine was a patient and nurturing caretaker, embodying love and devotion in every aspect of her life. She was a cherished member of Franklin Gateway Church in Franklin, Tennessee, where her faith was a guiding force.

Maxine's greatest joy was found in her family, particularly in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Maxine is now reunited with her beloved husband, Jerry Prince, and her parents. She is survived by her loving children, Nancy Prince Kas and Jeffrey (Khristina) Prince; sister: Merica Clifton; grandchildren: Jordan Rich, Christian Kas, Lindsay Coble, Jessica Cain (Joseph), Austin (Kerri) Prince, Carley Prince, and Emily Prince; and great-grandchildren, Mila, August, Joseph, Matthew, and Scarlett.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Prince, Nancy Prince Kas, Jason Bobb, Carley Prince, Emily Prince, Austin Prince, Khristina Prince, and Janette Sanchez. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Davis Phinney Parkinson's Foundation. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service for Maxine will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Maxine will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens next to her husband.
