Mary Helen Massey

Mary “Helen” Massey, age 59, of Mount Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Helen was born on May 14, 1959 in Maury County, Tennessee to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Buddy) and Carolyn Massey. Helen loved vacationing in the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee every year. She loved traveling with Amy and reading books. Helen was of Church of Christ faith.

Helen is survived by Allen (Jan) Massey of Mount Pleasant, David Massey of Mount Pleasant and Melody Massey of Mount Pleasant, one niece, Brittany Massey (Matthew Cates) of Columbia, two nephews, Devin (Sara) Massey and Dylan Massey, both from Mount Pleasant as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and two great nephews Ayden Cates and Luke Massey. She is preceded in death by her father, Buddy Massey; mother, Carolyn Massey; grandparents, Eugene and Katie Odom and Grover and Elise Massey.

The family will visit with friends on Thursday June 21, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Colby McConnell, Stephen McConnell, Phillip Potete, Danny Estes, Phillip Brown and Taylor Scott, Devin Massey, Dylan Massey and Matthew Cates.
