Mary Juanita Mcclain

Mrs. Mary Juanita Gibson McClain, 75, a resident of the Rockdale Community, passed away at her home Monday, Dec. 15, 2008.

Funeral services for Mrs. McClain will be conducted Wednesday, December 17th, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Ricky Glass officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Flem and Vivien Cook Gibson. She was the wife of Daniel McClain of Mt. Pleasant. She was a member of the Summertown Church of Christ. She was an avid quilter, with many quilts on display in museums around the country. She was a historian and enjoyed genealogy and had researched family history throughout the years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and was loved by many.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter: Vivien Herbie Adcock; sons: Ricky Kim Duberry, Todd Duberry and Carter Duberry; step children: Kathy Dokken, and Patricia Sevilla; her grandchildren: Shae Duberry, Paige Duberry, Mary Brennon James Garner, Sam Adcock, Magan Sears, Cory Duberry, Daniel Duberry, Jennifer Nettles and Mitchell Jones; great-grandchildren: Tyler and Elie Gracie Duberry, Shalyn Duberry, Leela, Lydia and Logan Nettles. She was preceded in death by a step-son: John McClain and beloved grandson: Eli Daniel Duberry.

Pallbearers will be Neal England, Billy Carroll, Shae Duberry, Mitchell Jones, Paul Cothran, Mike Cothran, Todd Cothran and Robert Cothran.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Summertown Church of Christ.
