Miss Mary Jane Morris, age 69, a longtime resident of Hidden Acres in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, October 26 at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.
The Maury County native was born December 25, 1940, daughter of the late John and Jennie Young Morris and she was raised by Robert and Lula Young. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her twin sister: Margaret Odom of Mt. Pleasant; niece: Debbie Randy Rochester of Old Fort, NC; great nieces and nephews: Joseph Rochester and Jason Rochester, both of Old Fort, NC and Jessica Ben Owenby of Fairview, NC; aunt: Dorothy Bob Neal of Campbellsville, KY.
Funeral services for Ms. Morris will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Don Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roy Glass Sr., Jim Powell, Bill Webb and Jackie Payne. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Hidden Acres Nursing Home.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 Am till service time at the funeral home.
