Mary Louise Fields of Columbia passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at NHC Columbia. Mary was born to the late Henry and Augustine Delpra on February 6, 1933 in Indiana, PA.
Mary Louise was a loving wife and mother to her long time husband and children. She was very gifted with creativity whether it was her vocal talent, drawing, or gardening. She was sharp and wise, always making sure her children had what they needed. Mary served as a butcher for over 15 years.
Mary is survived by her son, Gary Cockrell of San Mateo, CA; Daughters, Connie Coffey of Columbia, and Christine Wagner of Barstow, CA; Step-Children, Terri (Tim) Darillo of Shaker Heights, OH, and Bobby Fields of Cleveland, OH; and by two generations of grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Fields; Sons, Dennis and Troy Cockrell; and Step-son, Leonard Moore.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A graveside service at Polk Memorial Gardens will be conducted for Mrs. Fields on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM where she will be entombed.
