Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Sammons Runyon, 86, a resident of Camelot Drive in Columbia, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at her home.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm on Tuesday, May 9 at the Huron Valley Cemetery in Flat Rock, MI. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Maybe, MI, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Emily Burke Sammons and wife of the late Clyde Carlton Runyon. She was a homemaker and attended Gilead Baptist Church in Dearborn Heights, MI and Woodhaven Baptist Church in Woodhaven, MI.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandy Mack Owen of Cornersville; a son, Robert Rita Runyon of Lakeville, MN; four grandchildren, April Joe Brown of Wartrace, TN, Julieann Jeff Shaw of Pulaski, Travis Michele Runyon of Gig Harbor, WA and Holly David Garlie of Burnsville, MN; six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
