Ms. Mary Dee Woody, age 93, a resident of Columbia, TN passed away March 17, 2012 at home surrounded by her family.
Ms. Woody was born March 4th, 1919 in Hickman County to the late Cheatham Plunkett and Estelle DeWire Plunkett. Ms. Woody was a retired inspector from Weather Tamer, which operated here in Columbia for many years.
Mary is survived by one daughter: Linda Crigger of Columbia; One son: Benjamin Woody of Gig Harbor, WA; One granddaughter: Jennifer Aaron Kasdorf of Nashville, TN; Three grandsons: Drew Crigger of Silver Spring, MD, Justin Woody of Seattle, WA and Christopher Woody of Colorado Springs, CO and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Claude Plunkett.
A graveside service for Ms. Woody will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at The Arbors at Polk Memorial Gardens.
