Mary Lou Malugin Davidson, age 95, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at her residence in Columbia, Tennessee surrounded by family and loved ones.
Mary was born on February 22, 1921 in Primm Springs, Tennessee to William James Malugin and James Daniels. Mary Lou’s passion was her church, children, and grandchildren. She loved taking people down to her old home place and tell them the history of her family. She love telling us about how things were when there was not electricity and such changes she had seem in her life. Also how she loved playing in her flowers. She was a member of Emmanuel Church of Christ in Columbia, Tennessee.
The family will visit with friends on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with Daniel Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Church of Christ Fred White Road in Columbia, Tennessee.
Mary is survived by her sons James (Kathy) Davidson and Jay (Kathy) Davidson; daughter Jane (Steve) Buie; grandchildren Art (Jennifer) Kinslow, Tori (James) Crafton, James “Jamie” (Holly) Kinslow, Philip AaronDavidson, Phillip (Kristie) Bolton, Nathan (Maria) Davidson, Clint (Amanda) Bradley, Julie (Stephen) Hanes, and Laczi (Tristan) McCracken; nineteen great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by husband J.V. Davidson, brother, and several sisters.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are Mary's nephews.
