Mary Rose Cotton

Mary Rose “Kennedy” Cotton, age 64, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee passed away on May 2, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on August 26, 1953 in Maury County, Tennessee to the late Henry and Ruthie Kennedy. Mary was a child at heart; she was always laughing and joking. She was a good hearted woman. She was a devoted and loving family member and friend. Although, she did not have her own children, she was a loving mother to her nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.

Mary is survived by her siblings: Georgia (Richard) Odom, David (Delvene) Kennedy, Bruce Kennedy, Carolyn Ragsdale, Shirley Beaty and Annie Stewart as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Spencer Cotton; parents: Henry and Ruthie Kennedy and siblings: Maylene, Billy and Ewin Kennedy.

Mary’s family will visit with friends on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 10:00am until Noon at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A Service will be held immediately following at Noon in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home.
