Mary Ruth Brennan passed away at her home in Mt. Pleasant on Thursday, September 12, 2013.
Mrs. Brennan was the daughter of the late Salvia Perez and the late Catherine McBride Perez on August 26, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York. She married John Joseph Brennan on May 24, 1950 and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
In addition to her husband, Mary Ruth is survived by her children: Robert (life partner Corey Manning) Brennan and Ron (Joyce) Brennan; grandchildren: Samantha Brennan, Ron Brennan, Jr., T. J. Brennan, Avery Brennan, Logan Brennan; siblings: Ann (William) Eckerd, Cass (Tom) Arthur, Lori Greenlee, George (Diane) Valerio and Sharon Ricker; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her daughter: Susan Rochelle Brennan and son: John Joseph Brennan, Jr.
A memorial service celebrating Mary Ruth’s life will be held in Philadelphia at a later date.
