Ms. Mary A. Stack, a resident of the Signature Health Care Center in Columbia, TN, for the past 3 years, formerly of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011, at the Murray Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN.
Born in Wilkes-Barre Township, daughter of the late Joseph and Susanna Hudock Stack. She was a graduate of Wilkes-Barre Township High School, class of 1950 and formerly employed as an executive secretary for the Harris Semi Conductor Corp. in Mountain Top., prior to her retirement in 1996. Mary was a member of St. Joseph's Slovak Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and she was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception Church, Wilkes-Barre. She enjoyed her friendship with the staff and residence of the Signature Health Center for the past 3 years. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her loving and truthful disposition.
Ms. Stack is survived by a brother: Philip Fe Stack, Spring Hill, TN; nephews: Greg, Larry, Philip Jr., Fred & Robert Stack; nieces: Carol Ann Cannon and Lucy Stack; grand nieces: Susan, Karen, Colleen & Ann; 26 great-grand nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister: Helen Borkowski and by her brother: Joseph Stack Jr., and nephew: Edmund Borkowski Jr.
Funeral Services were held 9:00 am Saturday in St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, 134 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
