Mary Ann Harrison Jenkins, age 65, died Thursday July 20th in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Mary Ann was born in Grassy, Alabama on October 27, 1940 to Earl and Odelle Harrison, deceased. She passed cradled in love by her husband Jack Lucas Jenkins; son, Fred Lucas Jenkins of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Mary Jacqueline Hardin Daniel of Nashville; sister, Edna Don Blair of Birmingham, AL; brother, Thomas Earl Carolyn Harrison of Lynnville, TN. Mary Ann leaves her legacy in her grandchildren Jack Lucas Jenkins, Lola Lucas Daniel, and Eva Rose Daniel.
Mary Ann served as an educator in the Maury County Schools then owned and managed Fossil Fuels Inc. and Jenkins Properties, with her husband. She impacted lives with patience and poise from Lauderdale Co, AL to Columbia and Nashville, TN to Ponte Vedra and Naples, FL.
Visitation will occur on Monday the 24th at her home in Nashville from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services to be held at the First United Methodist Church in Columbia at 11:00 am on Tuesday the 25th with Reverend Jeff Jacob officiating, followed by a private burial at Polk Memorial Gardens. Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
