Mr. Martin Tobin, 84, a resident of Clocktower Drive in Franklin, passed Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at his residence.
Born April 1, 1925 in New York City, NY, son of the late Jack and Rose Cherdack Tobin and the husband of Esther Kutzban Tobin, who he married January 17, 1947. He retired as a security officer with Hewlett Packard Computers. Mr Tobin served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army during WWII.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Cathi Karp of New York, NY, Ross Tobin of Franklin and Bruce Tobin of Santa Fe, NM; several grandchildren.
Private services for Mr. Tobin will scheduled for a later date.
Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
