Martha Ann Mccaleb Massey

November 5, 1927 — April 9, 2006

Mrs. Martha Ann McCaleb Massey, 78, a resident of Spring, TX and a former resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2006 at Houston Northwest Medical Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Massey will be held Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 3:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Brother John Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Born in Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Church and the late Octa Church Cunningham and wife of the late Jack Massey. She retired from Union Carbide in production control. She was formerly associated with Graymere Church of Christ.

She was a loving mother and grandmother survived by two daughters, Jackie Miller of Spring, TX and Pam Garey Nelson of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Barbara Michael Griffey, Nicholas Miller and Chris Rebecca Nelson, all of Spring, TX, April Nelson of Houston, TX and Nathan Massey of Wichita Falls, TX; eight great grandchildren; several close cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Massey; a sister, Marlene Cole.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Miller, Christopher Nelson, Garey Nelson, Michael Griffey, Tommy Lillard and Buddy Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Williams, Billy Church, Doug Church and Ronald Church.
