Mark "Tank" Morton

Mr. Mark ?Tank? Morton, age 51, a resident of Brown Street in Columbia, passed away on Saturday, May 19, at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Morton will be conducted 11:00 AM, Tuesday in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Dennis Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Lot Cemetery in Hickman County.
The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Lewis County, he was the son of the late Early and Della Baker Morton. He was former employee of the City of Columbia, wrestled at Grand Slam and the surrounding area and was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his brother, Clyde Sandra Morton of Columbia; nephews, Scott Ashley Morton and Bradley Morton, both of Columbia.
Pallbearers will be Scott Morton, Johnny Barnes, Curtis Tidwell, Anthony Tidwell, Marvin Tidwell and Timmy Tidwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Harvey Moore, friends of the Grand Slam and former co-workers of the city of Columbia
