Mr. Mark Allen Jones, age 39 a resident of Locust Drive in Columbia, passed away on December 31st, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, January 3rd in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Howard Wright officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Born June 10th, 1970 in Nashville, he was the son of Carlos and Katie Biggs Gearheart and the husband of Amy Jordan Jones. He was a stay at home dad taking care of his son, Josh Jones. He attended Highland Avenue Church of God.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Tyler Gearheart of Fairview, Ashley Jones and Rebecca Jones, both of Columbia; step-children: Clifford Copley and Everett Copley Jr., both of Lawrenceburg; biological mother: Cindy Linda Biggs of Nashville; sisters: Marie Mangrum of Fairview and Melissa Biggs of Nashville; mother and father-in-law: Clarence and Jo Ellen Jordan of Linden; sister-in-law: Crystal Copley of Columbia; special friend: Chasitdy Bucy of Columbia; step-brother: Carlos Gearheart of Roanoke, VA; step-sister: Patricia Gearheart of Roanoke, VA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of special friends; the mother of his children: Tammy Jones of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a son: Josh Jones
