Marjorie Marie Boshers

Marjorie Marie Boshers, age 81, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at her residence in Columbia.

Marjorie was born on April 21, 1934 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Roy Arthur and Estelle Simmons. She was married to Carl B. Boshers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Marjorie was kindhearted and had a special gift of lifting the spirits of those in need. She touched numerous lives over the years. Marjorie worked as a supervisor at JC Penney’s. She enjoyed the many years at JC Penney and all the workers and customers she was associated with. She was a dedicated member of Northside Baptist Church. Teaching the ladies Lead On Class was one of the greatest blessings she enjoyed.

Marjorie is survived by her sons Mike Boshers of Pulaski and Mark (Ruth) Boshers of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren David Vick of Columbia, Ashley (Greg) Mabry of St. Inigoes, Maryland, and Eric Boshers of Johnson City, Tennessee; sister Ann Arthur of Pulaski.

Marjorie was preceded in death by Carl Boshers, daughters-in-law Della Vick and Pam Boshers, and siblings Carolyn Bloss, Larry Arthur, and JW Arthur. She was also survived by half-sisters Crystal (Larry) Field of Ohio; Tammy Scott of Ohio; Ginger (Doug) Stivers of Florida; Shonnie (Chris) Bauer of Ohio; half-brothers Terry Arthur of Colorado; Danny (Mary Beth) Arthur of Kentucky; Rodney Arthur of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Northside Baptist Church, 127 Theta Pike in Columbia, TN 38401. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Her service will start at 11:00 a.m. with a celebration meal to follow at the church.
