Marion Louise Williams Grace of Columbia, TN, Passed away on July 12, 2015 at Life Care Center of Columbia. She was a month shy of being 98 years old.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Marion was one of eight children of the late Fredrick George Williams and Carrie Louise Montague Williams.
A devoted wife of 58 years to the late William H. Grace, Sr., who passed away in 1997.
Marion was a beloved and cherished mother of William H. Grace, Jr. (Gini) of Palm Desert, CA, and Ginny Grace DuBois (Bob) of Cross Bridges, TN.
A long time resident of Santa Barbara, CA, Marion retired from the University of California, where she was a college admissions officer.
In Columbia, she was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church, and was blessed with many caring friends.
Marion was an amazing cook, homemaker, talented crafter, and she had a very generous, caring and loving heart. She was a beautiful lady.
In addition to her son and daughter, and their spouses, survivors includes two brothers, Charles (Joan) and Stanely Williams, both of California, six grandchildren: Colonel Mark Kross (Mimi) of Tucson, Arizona, Kim Swanner (Greg) of Franklin, Tennessee, William Grace, III (Natalie) of Rancho Santo Margarita, California, Keith Grace (Jenna) of Aliso Viejo, California, Brian Grace (Denise) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Shannon Alley of Columbia, Tennessee. Marion is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed living in Tennessee the last eleven years, but her heart really belonged in Santa Barbara, the place she dearly loved.

A private family gathering will be held at Tanglewood Farm, home of Bob and Ginny Dubois. Marion’s ashes will be buried beside her late husband at the family cemetery, “The Resting Place.”
