Marion Campbell Chaffin

Mrs. Marion R. Campbell Chaffin, 78, a resident of First Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at Heritage Manor.

Graveside services for Mrs. Chaffin will be conducted Thursday, December 5, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Father Patrick Connor officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home.

The New Orleans, Louisiana native was the daughter of the late Roy E. and Mary Louise Rice Campbell. She was the widow of Roy P. Chaffin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by one daughter- in- law, Becky Chaffin of Mt. Pleasant; one grandson, Jake Chaffin of Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Shirley Sanchez of Terrytown, LA; one brother, John Campbell of Terrytown, LA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Chaffin and one son, Roy R. Chaffin.
