Mrs. Marilyn Stanford Brock, age 52, a resident of Mockingbird Drive in Columbia passed away on Sunday, May 20, at her residence
Funeral services for Mrs. Brock will be conducted Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 P.M. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Columbia native was the daughter of the late Luther and Edna Childress Stanford and wife of John Brock. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Marty Briggs Kindred, Jr. of Spring Hill; daughters, Jelena Mitchelle Larry Wayne Smithson of Mt. Pleasant and Melinda Gayle Brock of Columbia; grandchildren, Zachary Kindred and Jackson Jones, both of Spring Hill and Ryan Smithson of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Margie Patterson of Columbia; brothers, Ronnie Stanford of Spring Hill and Jeff Stanford of Columbia. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara David Stanford and two brothers, James and Robert Stanford.
Nieces and nephews will be honorary pallbearers.
