Mrs. Marie Harned Crumley, age 83, a long time resident of Scribner's Mill Road, passed away on Monday, August 25 at NHC Columbia.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crumley will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points and Dan Buie officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 4:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Hopkinsville, KY, native was the daughter of the late John W. Harned and Lou Ella Harned. She was first married to the late Jack Cummins who passed away in 1953 and later to Robert "Bill" Crumley who passed away in 2003. Mrs. Crumley worked for Lovett's IGA and Super Rama for 27 years as a cashier and also baked pies and cakes for the public. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her children: Mary David Williams of Culleoka, Tommy Mary Crumley of Culleoka, Tim Wendy Crumley of Lewisburg, Lance Barbara Crumley of Mt. Pleasant and Boyd Crumley of Giles Co.; grandchildren: Becky Williams of Nashville, David Kerry Williams, Jr., of Culleoka, Mark Williams of Nashville, Justin Crumley of Culleoka, Johnathon Crumley of Knoxville, Deanna Crumley of Mt. Pleasant and Jason Crumley of AL; great-grandchildren: David Williams III and Cody Williams, both of Culleoka, Ethan Crumley, Olivia Hughes and Anella Hughes, all of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two sons: James Cummins and Sammy Crumley.
Pallbearers will be David Williams, Jr., Mark Williams, David Williams III, Tommy White, Kenny White and Justin Crumley. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky LeMay, Timmy Cummings, Kenneth Hill, Daryl Hubble and all the employees of Crumley Electric, LLC.
