Marie Antoinette James, age 50 a resident of Lawrenceburg passed away suddenly this weekend at her home in Lawrenceburg.
Marie was born January 27, 1962 in Virginia to Franklin Harris and Mary McNabb. Marie loved Tennessee football whether it was the Titans or the Volunteers and was very involved with her grandchildren and loved being their nana.
Ms. James is survived by her father Franklin Pat Harris of Hohenwald, TN; Her mother Mary McNabb of Lawrenceburg, TN; Three Daughters: Malissa Himes of Hohenwald, Tracy McClain of Columbia, and Charity Elmo Anderson of Mt. Pleasant; Three sisters: Karen Simbeck of Lawrenceburg, Tammy Harris of Alabama, and Lisa Nattress of Lawrenceburg; One brother: Tony Liz Harris of Lawrenceburg; Two Grandsons: Brandon Runions and Leland McClain; Two granddaughters: Destiny McClain and Abby Anderson. Marie was preceded in death by a special friend Randall Chessor.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Runions, Dwayne Glass, Tony Harris, Roy Glass, Elmo Anderson, James Thomas, Roy Runions, Kevin Bell, and Tony Turner.
Services for Marie will be conducted Monday at 6 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, TN. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Williams Funeral Home for service expenses.
