Maria Irma Guerrero

Mrs. Maria Irma Ortiz Guerrero, age 58, a resident of Preacher Holt Road in Mt. Pleasant passed away on Wednesday, September 5, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Guerrero will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at New Life Church with Pastor Rosita Ortiz and Pastor Juan G. Ortiz officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.

The Michuacan Mexico native was the daughter of Josefina Ortiz and the wife of Agustin Guerrero of Mt. Pleasant. She was in retail sales, tupperware and variety of things. She was a member of First Baptist Spanish congregation of Columbia.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Elvia Felipe Juarez of CA, Javier Rosario Guerrero of Columbia, Susana Juan Jaime of Mt. Pleasant, Mariana Jim Carty of Columbia, Maria Del Carmen Guerrero of Mt. Pleasant, Josefina Guerrero and Sandy Brito both of Nashville; grandchildren:, Jaime Juarez and Fernando Juarez, of CA, Roberto Guerrero and Agustin Guerrero of Columbia, Angel Jaime, Adilene Jaime and Melina Jaime all of Mt. Pleasant, Benjamin Carty of Columbia, Juan Guerrero, Noe Guerrero, Yessica Guerrero all of Nashville, Kasandra Guerrero of Mt. Pleasant, Erik Guerrero and Javier Jr. Guerrero both of Columbia; great-grandchildren: Joseph Juarez of CA and Jazmyn Guerrero of Columbia.

Pallbearers will be Dagoberto Rodriguez, Marco Antonio Rodriguez, Jose Barajas, Jorge Barajas, Juan Jaime and Jimmy B. Carty.
