Maria Teresa Cabrera, age 80, of Mt. Joy Road in the Hampshire community passed away on October 19, 2013 at her residence.
Maria was born on January 7, 1933 in Cuba, Las Villas to Antonio Ruiz and Maria Alejandrina Alfonso. She worked as a hairstylist.
She is survived by her sons: Jesus “Jessie” (GenoveBa) Cabrera and Albert Soliva; grandchildren: Christopher (Ashley Rubio) Cabrera, Javier Cabrera and Yisel Cabrera; brother: Herbert Ruiz; nephews: Herbert Louis Ruiz and Louis Herbert Ruiz and her niece: Maria Alexandra Rosen Ruiz.
Funeral services for Ms. Cabrera will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with burial to follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
