Margie Ann Whitehead

Margie Ann Whitehead was born June 11, 1958 in Lafayette, TN, the daughter of Mrs. Gladys Coulter Pedigo Langhans of Nashville and the late Hillos Clifford Pedigo. Margie was happily married for 36 years to Eddie Whitehead of Mt. Pleasant. Margie and Eddie spent much time together fishing. She was one of those ladies who was "born to shop" according to her family. Margie dearly loved spending time with her "grandbabies." She was a driver for Med Ride Transportation.

Survivors in addition to Eddie and her mother, include her daughters, Sherry David Smith of Mt. Pleasant, Christy Nolan Derryberry of Summertown, Connie Whitehead and Carrie Whitehead, both of Mt. Pleasant; her dear grandchildren, Erica Whitehead, Jessica Whitehead, Cody Allen, Caitlin Luther, William Luttrell, Macy Smith, Aylssa Treat and Grant Derryberry; two sisters, JoAnn Vaughn of Laguardo, TN and Sally Judkins of Nashville; two brothers, Porter Pedigo and Thomas Pedigo, both of Nashville. In addition to her father, Margie was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Whitehead and a sister, Lois Ann Crawford.

Funeral services for Margie will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Randy McNeece officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Hill Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David smith, Cody Allen, Brent Burns, Brandon Burns, Doug Woodard, Timmy Woodard and Jimmy Woodard. Honorary pallbearers will be her coworkers at Med Ride Transportation.
