Mrs. Lula Margaret Russell Lewis, 65, of Lyons Lane in Columbia, TN, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis will be conducted Friday, May 2, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Rudy Thrasher officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the Daughter of the late Oscar and Lula Bruce Russell, and the wife of Robert Edward Lewis. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lewis is survived by three sons, Charles Melissa Lewis, Donald Teresa Lewis and Robert "Bubba" Lewis, all of Columbia, TN; Four daughters, Janie Jerry Osborne, of Culleoka, TN, Shirley Lewis of Columbia, TN, Shelia Thomas Holt, of Culleoka, TN, and Mary Joey Beckum, of Columbia, TN; two sisters, Peggy Farris, of Columbia, and Edna Roberts of Mt. Pleasant; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lewis is preceded in death by six children, four brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Lewis will be, Joshua Beckum, Kenneth Jenkins, Jimmy Tennyson, Randall Scott, Chad Mills and Wayne Hall.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. John Simmons, Jimmy Davis, Mike Roberts and Rick Points.
Memorials may be made to the Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ.
