Margaret R. Henson

Mrs. Margaret R. Edwards Henson, age 77, a resident of Florida Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Monday, November 13, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Henson will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M at the funeral home.
The Birmingham, AL, native was the daughter of the late Fletcher Everett Edwards and Catherine Harrison Edwards. She was the wife of the late Leonard Henson, to whom she was married for 58 years. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She did catering out of her home and was of the Methodist faith
Survivors include two sons: Larry Henson of Columbia and Bobby Donna Henson of Lewisburg; one daughter: Sandra Denton Crews of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers: F.E. Edwards of Mobile, AL and Marion Lester Edwards of Pulaski; six grandchildren: Amy Crews, Emily Runions, Jason Crews and Joshua Crews, all of Mt. Pleasant, Holly Michelle Robert Thyen and Jillian Nicole Henson, both of Columbia; four great-grandchildren: Kelsey Thyen and John Robert Thyen of Columbia and Amelia Runions and Ally Runions of Mt. Pleasant; two step-grandchildren: Leslie Troy Wiser and Matt Mealer both of Lewisburg; one step-great-grandchild: Karlye Wiser of Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Zora Ellen Oliver and Gene Rosemarie Edwards Henson.
Pallbearers will be Robert Thyen, Wesley Pless, Troy Wiser, Jason Crews, Joshua Crews, Matt Mealer, and Denton Crews. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Blumhardt, Dr. Freels and Dr. Kennedy.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Nashville Office, 4205 Hillsboro Road, Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37215.
