Margaret Louise Ragsdale Norman, passed away September 20th at her residence in Hohenwald, TN surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services for Mrs. Norman will be Monday, September 23rd at 4:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with Wendall Spears officiating. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday, September 23rd from 1:00 until the time of service at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. At Mrs. Norman’s request the casket will be closed during the ceremony and visitation.
The Maury county native was the daughter of the late Elton Mack and Uvela “LouLou” Ragsdale. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe “Moose” Norman. She was a retired Maury county school bus driver and drove bus number 53 for 20 years.
She is survived by: one daughter; Roxanne (Brad) Rasbury of Hohenwald, two sons; Douglas “Killer” (Elizabeth) Norman of Mt. Pleasant, Billy Joe Norman of Hohenwald, granddaughters; Ginger (Ricky) Cothran, Meaghane (Jeffrey) Collins, Brittany Brophy, Kayla and Baillie Norman, and Rose, Abbagail, Emily Rasbury, Bracie Sharp, Brandy Sealy, Becky Norman, and Ashley Nolan, grandsons; Billy Joe II, Joey Norman, and Andrew Norman, 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by brothers; William (Frances) Ragsdale of Columbia, and Junior Ragsdale of Mt. Pleasant, Sisters; Barbara Holder and Judy Wyatt of Mt. Pleasant, and Minnie Ragsdale of New Port, Brother-in-laws; Robert (Dianne) Norman, and David Henson.
Preceded in death by: daughter; Debbie Crowe, grandson; Joe Calvin England, brother; Johnny Ragsdale, sister; Ruby McGaw, and sister-in-law; Shirley Henson.
Pallbearers will be granddaughters: Ginger Cothran, Meaghane Collins, Kayla Norman, Baillie Norman, Rose Rasbury, and Abbagail Rasbury.
Honorary Pallbearers will include: Lisa Reed, Hospice Compassus, Mr. Phillips Chapman, Richard Cothran, Betty Cathey, and her old “Bus driving crew”: Drucilla Floyd, Mr. Scott, Ms. Alberta, Beverly Brown, Thelma Floyd, Lynn Spears, Ms. Mary, Scooter Vick, H.B. Steward, Bob Minchum, and Lawrence Douglas.
