Margaret Nichols King

Mrs. Margaret "Dot" Nichols King, age 84, a resident of Bradshaw Drive in Columbia, passed away on Sunday, August 10, at her residence.
Graveside services for Mrs. King will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. in Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Terrance Blakely officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
The Mt. Pleasant native was the daughter of the late Ben F. Nichols and Margaret Thompson Nichols. She was the wife of the late Louis Murray King.
Mrs. King was a 1943 graduate of Hay Long High School in Mt. Pleasant and was a nurse for thirty years at Maury Regional Hospital. She attended Southside Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Survivors include her children: Sheila King Clyde Holton of Spartanburg, SC, Ben Dory King and Murray King, both of Columbia.
She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
