Mrs. Margaret Mary Hanson, age 88, a resident of First Road in Summertown, passed away on Friday, May 1, at her residence.
Funeral Mass for Mrs. Hanson will be held Wednesday, May 6 at 11:00 AM at the St. John of God Roman Catholic Church in Westfield Grove, NJ. Burial will follow in the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery in Middletownship, NJ. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
Williams Funeral Home of Columbia is in charge of local arrangements.
Born January 14, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen Byrne McDonough and wife of the late William Hanson. She was a homemaker
Mrs. Hanson is survived by her daughters: Pat McCarthy and Katie Hanson, both of Summertown and Marge Sleght of Cape May, NJ; 5 grandsons and 5 great-grandchildren.
