Margaret Holder Beardin

Mrs. Margaret D. Holder Beardin, 73, died Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at her residence on Locust Street in Columbia.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beardin will be conducted Saturday, August 9, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Reverend Donald Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Giles County native was the daughter of the late John and Ellen Byrd Holder. She was the widow of Charles Beardin. She was a homemaker and member of the House of Prayer Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Ray Betty Holder and Wayne Betty Harvey both of Columbia and Andy Marlene Harvey of Culleoka; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Holder.

Pallbearers will be Mike Holder, Timmy Collins, Len Harvey, Brent Harvey, Josh Harvey, and Tyler Harvey. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the House of Prayer Baptist Church.
