Margaret Galbraith Cheek
April 22, 1920 — February 26, 2003
Mrs. Margaret Galbraith Cheek, 82, wife of Norris B. Cheek and a resident of Tom Littlejohn Road, died Wednesday February 26, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cheek will be conducted Thursday February 27, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Calvin Hardison officiating at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Hinkle Galbraith. She was a homemaker and an excellent mother.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Beryl Todd Turner of Nashville; a son Tom Tereasa Cheek of Columbia; one granddaughter, Candy Perez of Nashville; three grandsons, Matthew Cheek of Columbia, Kelly Cheek of Lewisburg and Marty Pruitt of Nashville; a great-grandson, Paul Cheek of Nashville; a sister, Nancy Parham of Columbia.
Active pallbearers will be Matthew Cheek, Kelly Cheek, Tommy Helton, Joshua Helton, Michael Helton and Travis Kelly.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Duncan and Billy Manier.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4004 Hillsboro Road Suite 219B Nashville, Tennessee 37215.
