Margaret Ann Norman Dugger passed away on August 1, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late H. T. "Jack" and Ruby Louise Chatman Norman born on March 5, 1943 in the Ashwood area of Maury County.
Margaret was a homemaker who loved Elvis and considered a trip to Graceland with her grand-daughter Robin and her husband Steve to be one of the highlights of her life. She loved the Grand Ole Opry, but her favorite hobby was reading. She continually had a book in her hand and was a regular at the Maury County Public Library. Most of all, though, Margaret was devoted to the care of her beloved daughter Christie, who is physically disabled.
Ms. Dugger is survived by her daughters: Cindy Tomlin of Franklin and Christie Dugger of LaVergne; grandchildren: Robin Steve Sullivan of Franklin, Wesley Tomlin of Nashville and Ashley Tomlin of Franklin; great granddaughter: Brittney Cody Amann; brother: Stanley Janet Norman; several nieces and nephews and the father of her children: Cleveland Dugger.
In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her daughter: Connie Gay Dugger and her brothers: Howard Norman and Jerry Norman.
Funeral services for Ms. Dugger will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. William Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Norman, Donnie Norman, Jerry Norman, Jr., Cody Amann, Michael Norman and Josh Norman.
