Mamie Stanley Terry

Mrs. Mamie E. Stanley Terry was born December 5, 1916 in Mt. Airy, NC, the daughter of the late Weldon and Ella Jones Stanley. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Terry.

Mamie was always a loving housewife and homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was one of Jehovah?s Witnesses.

Survivors include her children, Lonnie Kathleen Terry of Santa Fe, Dolores Tachell of Fla., and Vivian Cardin of Lewisburg; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mamie was preceded in death by a son, Charles Terry, son-in-law, Thomas Tachell, two grandchildren, Irene Dames and Boyd Cardin and several brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Terry passed away on Tuesday, April 12, at her residence at the age of 94, surrounded by her loving family.

Memorial services for Mrs. Terry will be conducted Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Elder Wesley Henney officiating.
