Mrs. Malah Rogers Cole, age 84, a longtime resident of Gray Circle in Columbia, passed away Saturday, May 24 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Graveside services for Mrs. Cole will be conducted Tuesday 27, at 10:00 AM at Polk Memorial Gardens with Reverend Gary Wedgwood officiating.
The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia.
The Athens, Alabama native was the daughter of the late Commoder and Rosalee Peacher Rogers and the widow of Joe A. Cole. Mrs. Cole was a graduate of Marshall County High School and a graduate of Columbia Business College. She taught courses with her husband at Columbia Business College and retired from the Federal Government at Farmers Home Loan. Mrs. Cole was a volunteer at Maury Regional Hospital for 24 years with over 16, 000 volunteer hours of service and was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother: C P 'Buddy" Betty Rogers of Columbia; a sister: Betty George Whitehorn of Hixon, TN; many nephews and nieces.
Memorial may be made to the Paws of Maury County 1233 Mapleash Avenue Columbia, TN 38402 or the charity of your choice.
