Mae Yvonne Coleman, born on April 19, 1937, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 85. She was the daughter of Hollis Brown Pevahouse and Lela Estele Ricketts.

Yvonne was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her five children, Hollis Pevahouse of Cullman, AL, Carolyn (Gwen) Coleman of Arley, AL, John Robert Coleman of Johnson City, TN, Mary Lou (Javier) Arreola of Brownsville, TX, and Jerry (Penny) Coleman of Texas, as well as her brother Ronnie Pevahouse of Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Lee Coleman, daughter Yvette Coleman, and stepson Joe Alfred Coleman.

Yvonne was a hardworking woman, having a variety of professions throughout her career, and eventually retired as a restaurant manager. She was known for her dedication and commitment to her work.

In her personal life, Yvonne was a loving and caring mother who always put her family first. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She was a kind and generous person who always put others before herself.

She is survived by her grandchildren Samuel Coleman, Catherine Coleman, Zoey Coleman, and Kai Coleman, as well as her great-grandson Arlen Zayne Landers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
