Mable “Buffy” Ingram, age 70, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at her residence.
Buffy was born May 1, 1947 in Waynesboro, the daughter of the late Ernie Pope and Gladys Inman Pope. She was retired from American Bank Note as an inspector.
Survivors include her children, Steve (Deonna) Phillips and Crystal Mills; grandchildren, Courtney (David) Hutchinson, Chase (Brenden) Mills, Caleigh Mills, Dylan Marcrom and Cruz Phillips; great-grandchildren, Brayden Mills, Maci Mills, Caydence Mills and Alexandria Mills; brothers: A.B. (Mattie) Pope, Franklin (Glory Jo) Pope and William Pope. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Pope and M.T. Pope.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
