Mable Dickens Davis

Mrs. Jessie Mable Dickens Davis, 90, a resident of Duplex Road in Spring Hill, died Thursday, August 8, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be conducted Sunday, August 11, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Glen Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The West Point, Mississippi native was the daughter of the late Charles and Kate Menease Dickens. She was a retired house parent for the Tennessee Children's Home in Spring Hill. She was a member of the Spring Hill Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter, Nell Tomlinson of Spring Hill; two grandchildren, Andy Corrine Tomlinson and Ginger Randall Chesnut both of Spring Hill; two great grandchildren, Tyler Tomlinson and Matthew Chesnut. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Rachel Hayes and Elizabeth Caples.

Pallbearers will be Andy Tomlinson, Tyler Tomlinson, Randall Chesnut, Jack Robertson, Billy Whatley, and Dale Walton. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of the Spring Hill Church of Christ.
