Mrs. Lydia Gonzalez, age 59, resident Bradford Ct. of Columbia, passed away Wednesday February 18, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service for Mrs. Gonzalez will be conducted March 2, 2009 at Guerra-Gutierrez Mortuaries in Los Angeles, CA with Rev. Gary McCulloch officiating. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, CA.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia will be in charge of local arrangements.
Raised in Los Angeles, CA, she was the daughter of Julia Navarro . She was the wife and best friend of Jesse D. Gonzalez of Columbia. Mrs. Gonzalez was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Los Angeles, California. She was a homemaker, mom and grandma and a member of the St Catherine's Catholic Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Jo Ann Frank Gonzalez and Hillary J. Omar Craig both of Columbia, TN, Debra Manuel Pinon of La Puente, CA; grandchildren: Frank E. Ortiz, Manuel J. Pinon, Maddisyn G. Pinon, Jesse D. Gonzalez III, Jessica D. Gonzalez, Allen F. Pinon, Raymond Gonzalez, Sabrina R. Gonzalez, Julian I. Craig and Demetrius M. Craig.
She was preceded in death by her only son, Jesse D. Gonzalez, Jr. and her mother, Julia Navarro.
