Mrs. Lula Mae Goodman, age 91, a former resident of Murphy Lane, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, at Life Care Center of Columbia.
Mrs. Goodman was born March 12, 1920 in Leoma, TN, to the late John and Alice Wynn. She was an LPN at Maury County Hospital for 20 years and a long time member of the Elmore Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her children, Ronald Rebecca Shultz of Columbia, Patricia Michael Walls of Decatur, AL, Judy Lee of Columbia and Geoffrey Darla Goodman of Ethridge; grandchildren, Denise Sammy Woods, Susan Ashworth, Lisa Anglin, Todd Shultz, Lisa Rickey South, Cynthia Sweeney, Tracy Tommy Ring, Allison Chris Demastus, Justin Goodman, Elijah Goodman, Adain Goodman, Rebecca Goodman, Anna Goodman, Emma Goodman, Jillian Goodman and Boone Goodman, along with 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goodman was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Shultz, Fred Goodman and Allen Voss, one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Lorene Shultz, one grandson, Danny Shultz, one son-in-law, Bob Lee, four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Ronnie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 4:00 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Todd Shultz, Justin Goodman, Tommy Ring, Chris Demastus, Rickey South, Elijah Goodman, Michael Sweeney, Wesley Shultz and Ben South.
The family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Life Care Center of Columbia for their care and attention to their mother during her illness.
