Luke Williams Ross

Mr. Luke Williams Ross, 47, died Monday, January 20, 2003 at his residence in the Williamsport Community.
A memorial service for Mr. Ross will be conducted Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church with Reverend Thomas S.Wilson officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the church parrish hall. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at St. John's Episcopal Churchyard. Williams Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The Maury County native was the son of William M. Ross of Panama City Beach, Florida and Mrs. Jane Williams Kay of Apalachicola, Florida. He was schooled in Mt. Pleasant, Columbia Military Academy, and graduated from Battle Ground Academy in 1973. He attended Tennesssee Technological University and served in the United States Coast Guard. After working with Johnson Insulation Company and Industrial Products Company, he farmed in the Williamsport Community.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a daughter, Grayson Gann Ross of Columbia, TN; a son, William Patrick Ross of St. Augustine, FL; a sister, Tracy Ross-Broncucio of St. Petersburg, FL; a brother, Patrick Dunbar Ross of Micanopy, FL. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Meadow Ross, Jr.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Highland Rim, 705 Trotwood Avenue Columbia, Tennessee 38401.
