The family stated, "Our mother had a very full life, and she survived cancer, amputations, and raising three rambunctious boys as a single mother. Her life wasn't painful, but it wasn't easy." Everyone always commented on her beautiful blue eyes and jet black hair.
She was a proud woman of the Lutheran faith who believed in God and was thought of as one of the sweetest women who rarely asked much of people. She was always polite and friendly to everyone she met. Her caring soul will be forever cherished by her family.
Lucille is survived by her adored children: Tom Cheryl Bolas from Amarillo, TX, Pete Val Bolas of Columbia, TN, and James Bolas of Brooklyn, NY; her three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
